Tata Motors launched world's cheapest car, Tata Nano in India in March 2009. It is fast, swift and most importantly easy on the pocket.
In November Tata Motors launched a brand new variant of Tata Nano, which will be available to the consumers in new colours and would come with a more powerful petrol motor that will deliver a superb mileage of 25.4 km per litre.
Along with the excellent mileage, the car is loaded with improved interior features.
However, the major highlight of the 2012 Tata Nano is its price. Tata Motors played its cards wisely and launched the new variant at the same price as before.
Now, let's move on to the most crucial point of the new Tata Nano - its engine.
2012 Tata Nano sports 624cc of petrol engine that has been made more sturdy and powerful and is capable of producing 38 PS of power that was 35 PS in the earlier version along with 51 Nm of torque, which is 3 point higher than the previous model.
The major thing that steals the show here is the mileage.
The original Tata Nano used to deliver an impressive mileage of 23.6 km per litre but this time around, Tata Motors have pushed itself and made its engine pretty brawny, which will provide a whopping mileage of 25.4 km per litre.
